A Royal Celebration at Ramada Udaipur: A Two-Day Wedding Full of Color, Culture, and Celebration

At Sea Hawk Events, every wedding we plan is a unique story – a celebration of love woven with culture, colors, and unforgettable moments. One such story unfolded at the beautiful Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa this February 17th & 18th, 2026, where we had the pleasure of designing and managing a spectacular two-day destination wedding.
Day 1: A Burst of Culture, Color, and Music
🌿 Mehndi Ceremony – Rajasthani theme Comes Alive
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant Mehndi ceremony during the day. The theme was inspired by the rich Rajasthani heritage – complete with colorful décor, traditional folk elements, and live performances that brought local culture to life.
Guests adorned themselves in bright hues, with the bride glowing under floral canopies and traditional Rajasthani umbrellas, while mehndi artists worked their magic.
Function 2: –Sangeet & Cocktail Night – Glitz, Glam, and Grooves
As the sun dipped, we transformed the venue into a Silver and Black wonderland for the Sangeet and Cocktail Night. A glamorous setup with mirror work, metallic tones, and ambient lighting set the mood for an unforgettable evening.
With electrifying performances from friends and family, and an after-party that rolled into the night, DJ Max ensured the dance floor was never empty. This night was all about celebration, laughter, and lots of sparkle!
Day 2: Rituals, Romance, and Red Roses
🧡 Haldi Ceremony – A Colorful Affair
The second day began with a joyful Haldi ceremony around 11 AM. The color palette of orange and blue created a festive and refreshing vibe. From floral showers to turmeric-filled laughter, this ceremony radiated warmth, happiness, and family bonding.
Marigold garlands, blue drapes, and lively music made the perfect backdrop for this traditional ritual.
A Baraat to Remember: DJ on Wheels
One of the major highlights of this wedding was the Baraat – a high-energy celebration with a DJ on wheels! The groom’s entourage danced their way to the venue with full gusto, creating a scene straight out of a Bollywood film.
Sundown Varmala & Phere – Love Under the Open Sky
As golden hour approached, guests gathered for a sunset Jaimala and Phere ceremony. The setting was ethereal – with floral mandaps, fairy lights, and a panoramic view of the hills creating a picture-perfect moment.
This event was a beautiful blend of emotion, elegance, and tradition, marking the union of two souls in the most serene setting.
Sufi Night – Red, Romance, and Rhythms
To conclude the celebrations, we hosted a soulful Sufi Night with a “Red & Candles” theme. Imagine red drapes, soft candlelight, rose petals, and live Sufi music filling the air.
It was the perfect wind-down – romantic, spiritual, and deeply moving. Guests swayed to the sounds of Sufi melodies as the newlyweds soaked in the love and blessings around them.
Final Thoughts
This two-day extravaganza at Ramada Udaipur was not just a wedding; it was an experience – carefully curated and passionately executed. From traditional elegance to modern flair, every element was personalized to reflect the couple’s story.
